ICCE 2012 will be held at the International Convention Center in Santander (Cantabria), Spain from July 1st to 6th, 2012. Santander, a modern and cosmopolitan city with a rich historical past, is protected by a natural bay and is a member of the exclusive club of the “Most beautiful Bays in the World”. It has also been a major tourist destination since the Spanish Royal Family first chose it as their summer home at the beginning of the 20th century. The Convention Center, recently constructed, is located in a privileged spot surrounded by golden beaches and spectacular scenery overlooking the Cantabria Sea. The conference is being organized under the auspices of the Coastal Engineering Research Council (CERC) of Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Topics: Original papers are invited in theory, measurement, analysis, modelling and practice for the following topics. Practical papers detailing the design, construction and performance of case studies on coastal projects are encouraged.
