A High Level event on Aquaculture will be organised in Brussels on May 24. This will be the occasion to highlight the progress made over the last years and further actions needed in developing a sustainable aquaculture sector in the EU. The event will also take stock of Member States' Multiannual Strategic Plans for Aquaculture and of the first results of best practice exchange seminars. It will be the opportunity to showcase successful aquaculture business practices and this event will provide a platform for the industry, stakeholders and Member States to put forward concrete suggestions on what more needs to be done.
