Check out the indicative programme of EMD 2018 in Burgas (31 May & 1 June), submit your proposals for a stakeholder workshop (deadline 30 November 2017), pitch your impact-oriented activities, ideas and solutions at our pitch stage in the networking village or apply to participate in the "Blue Bubbles", a session dedicated to young ocean activists and leaders. Interested in linking your own maritime event to EMD? Apply to register it as an EMD in My Country event!

The indicative programme of the EMD 2018 in Burgas  is now available on EMD website and there is already a possibility for you to get involved in the programme of the conference:

  1. You can apply to organise your workshop in Burgas (deadline 30 November 2017).
  2. We are looking for young ocean activists/leaders i.e. students,  young professionals and young NGO leaders  (18 – 30 years) including from the Black Sea region who are developing initiatives and solutions to protect and sustain our seas and oceans to fill the "Blue Bubbles" session (indicative programme). Speakers will be invited. Contact us and select  Category "EMD Conference programme and workshops".
  3. We are also looking for speakers who want to share their impact-oriented activities, ideas and solutions to seas and ocean-related challenges and opportunities including students, young scientists and ocean entrepreneurs to fill the pitch stage slots (indicative programme). Contact us and select  Category "EMD Conference programme and workshops".
  4. You can bring European Maritime Day in your country and link your own maritime event to #EMD2018. Apply till end of February: EMD in My Country.
