The event will discuss environmental progress underway in South-East Europe. The region is notably making its waste management more sustainable and raising 2030 targets for re-using and recycling waste. To help reach these goals, the Waste Management & Recycling Conference and Exhibition for South East Europe offers a meeting point at which representatives from European companies and government agencies can explore opportunities to implement greener waste treatment technologies and practices.
Sessions address green growth and the circular economy, and will include an introduction to funding opportunities from the LIFE programme in support of work on the environment and climate action. The LIFE session will take place on 28 March. More information is available on the conference programme. LIFE will also man a stand in the exhibition area to answer questions on its funding opportunities and how the programme contributes to the circular economy"
