| Description: | In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, there are many streams, rivers, seas and the baltic sea. Because of the intensive touristical and land use, the eco system is heavily affected. In the event, marine litter and the related problems will be discussed and in the workshops, it will be dealt with selected problems. The goal is to publish a recommendation leaflet for municipalities and travel consultants. The focus lies on: -marine litter and the EU Meeresstrategie-Rahmenrichtlinie and the HELCOM action plan -results of the marine litter monitorings at the baltic sea coast -significance of tourism responsible -responsibility and options for the local level |
