Description:	The swimming relay in the river Elbe is a unique sports and research event. Never before, a swimming relay of 575 kilometres in the river Elbe took place. Six federal states, 19 stages and more than 200 participants: all in all, that's the biggest freewater swimming relay event in Germany. It is starting the 24th of June in Bad Schandau, ending the 12th of july in Geesthacht.
