Management of invasive alien species in Europe

This joint event between RAPID LIFE and the Belgian Forum on Invasive Species (BFIS) will exchange experiences on managing invasive alien species (IAS) in Europe.

The agenda includes:

• the interpretation of the EU IAS regulation in different EU countries;
• a session featuring LIFE projects working on IAS in different parts of Europe;
• a keynote presentation from Andy Sheppard (CSIRO Australia) on novel technologies for the detection and surveillance of IAS.
